Visualising Justice

Research, Participation & Creative Practice

Visualising Justice explores how storytelling, creative inquiry and participatory practice can make marginalised experiences and perspectives visible, while creating opportunities to question established knowledge, institutional structures and the ways change happens.

Led by Kevin J Brazant, the research is situated within a broader educational inquiry into Learning from the Margins, examining how lived experience, student knowledge and creative expression can inform dialogue, challenge dominant assumptions and contribute to more equitable educational practices.

Working with the LCC Changemakers at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, the project explores students as active contributors to knowledge production, rather than simply participants in institutional consultation. Through collaborative storytelling, visual methods and critical dialogue, Visualising Justice considers how participatory approaches can create spaces for alternative perspectives to be expressed, interpreted and brought into conversation with institutional practice.

The film introduces the research context, its participatory approach and the relationship between Visualising Justice and the work of LCC Changemakers.
